MintSix Interiors is directed towards delivering complete interior schemes for residential new builds and renovations as well as boutique commercial projects.

We understand that renovating or building can be one of the biggest financial decisions you may make and it can sometimes be an arduous or even a stressful process. Our approach is to make the journey as accessible and enjoyable for you as possible.

You will already have your own ideas for your project, however working collaboratively with an interior designer will ensure your space not only works functionally but also has a cohesive, timeless and beautiful aesthetic.

When building or renovating there are so many decisions to be made and depending on the size of your project the list of finishes and products that need to be selected can vary greatly. Every client is unique, we aim to design spaces that reflect your individual style and personality, fit with your lifestyle and meet your budget.

We preferably like to work with your architect or architectural draughtsperson early on in the project to ensure your spaces are designed to maximise your interior vision.

1. Initial Consultation

 $180 + gst

During the initial consultation that will go for anywhere up to 90 minutes, we will discuss your project, talk through all your ideas, the project timeline and the budget. During this consultation you can ask me any design queries you may have and I will provide you with design advice and recommendations.  After the consultation if you want to proceed to the next stage, you’ll receive a document outlining the service that will be provided, the design process and an estimate of costs. If you're happy with the proposal, we will get the concept underway.

2. Concept

I will present you with a concept for your space that generally includes a series of inspirational images similar to what we are trying to achieve with your project, colour schemes, flooring, tiles, fabrics and hardware. From here we work together to ensure you are happy with the overall concept. The concept will be referred to when any design decisions are being made throughout the project so it's important we spend the time to get it exactly the way you would like it. (please see a concept example below)

3. Design, Specify + Source

When you have you approved the concept, I’ll start designing, specifying and sourcing.

This generally includes, but is not limited to:

  • exterior finishes selections

  • interior and exterior colour schemes

  • flooring and window treatments

  • kitchen, bathroom and laundry/mudroom design and finishes

  • electrical plans, lighting selection & sourcing

  • furniture selection & sourcing

  • soft furnishings and accessories sourcing + selection

  • custom joinery and bespoke furniture design

To help you visualise how the design choices will work together in your space and be tailored to your personal aesthetic, ideas can be presented on concept/mood boards where necessary. We will also design and document all interior details that can then be used by your builder and trades. Once you approve the design and specifications, you will receive an invoice and we can confirm the order and organise delivery with suppliers.

4. Style

When everything has been delivered, I will visit your space to complete the final placement and styling of all interior elements to bring your vision to life.
